Background and Discussion:
A training facility will be constructed at the Fire Marshal’s Office located at 2318 Atascocita Rd, Humble TX. This training classroom will be used for in-person and hybrid training for public safety and industrial partners. The training facility will be 5,750 square feet, with two restrooms, a kitchen, four offices, and support space. The training classroom will have full audio-visual capabilities for quality education delivery both in person, virtually, or in combination.
The change in contract includes the costs associated with providing all necessary materials, equipment, and labor for the additional work required to tie in electrical service to the Hazmat Building, providing the fiber optic pathway for communications, and relocating the mobile area cleanout due to unforeseen site conditions.
