Background and Discussion:
The roadway project includes piped storm drain conveyance, to L113-00-00 then ultimately to Little Cypress Creek. The roadway project also requires detention mitigation. The interlocal agreement documents MUD 583 cost to mitigate the roadway detention for the benefit of Harris County and Harris County cost to upsize the conveyance to the benefit of MUD 583.

Expected Impact:
The outcome of the interlocal agreement will allow both Harris County and MUD 583 to partner on shared regional goals.

Alternative Options:
An alternative to the interlocal agreement would be for Harris County and HC MUD 583 to both accommodate development mitigation and storm drain conveyance separately which is not an optimal arrangement.
