Request for approval of the second amendment to the lease agreement with Gillebaard USA Corp. for continued use of the space located at 6805 Silsbee Drive, Houston, TX 77033 for department operations for a four-year term from July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2030.

Background and Discussion:
Harris County Public Health utilizes the Silsbee Warehouse to support departmental operational and storage needs. Renewal of the lease will allow HCPH to maintain continuity of warehouse operations and avoid disruption associated with relocating equipment, supplies, and other departmental resources. Continued use of the existing facility also supports HCPH's ongoing logistics and storage requirements without the immediate operational and financial impacts associated with identifying, preparing, and transitioning to an alternative warehouse location.

Expected Impact:
The Second Amendment will extend the lease for a four-year term from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2030, with an optional additional 12-month renewal period from July 1, 2030, through June 30, 2031.
