Background and Discussion:
The Roland Road and Related Infrastructure Drainage Improvements project is located in West Harris County in Precinct 4. The scope of work for this utility agreement includes relocating approximately 811 feet of 16 inch pipeline to avoid conflict with drainage improvements.

Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County. This utility agreement is a step in the process to reduce the financial, physical, and emotional burden flood damage places on homeowners and will reduce the financial impact of recovery costs to the Roland Road area, Harris County, and FEMA. The fiscal impact for this project will come from the 1070 Fund for the Recovery and Resiliency Division subdivision projects with the long-term goal of reducing drainage costs in the future. No impact to project schedule or staffing anticipated.

Alternative Options:
Alternative options include redesigning Harris County's proposed drainage improvements or abandoning the project.
