Background and Discussion:
The project involves constructing four monuments on Precinct 2 road medians-two in Channelview (510 Sheldon Road and 14807 Woodforest Boulevard) and two in North Shore (514 Normandy Street and 16 Uvalde Road).
This change in contract includes:
PCO#6: In response to a community request, the monument originally planned for installation in the third median at Channelview was proposed to be relocated to the second median. This change required additional coordination and review to ensure safety and compliance with sight distance requirements. Specifically, the designer and Traffic Group needed to evaluate the proposed location to confirm that the monument would not create any sight obstruction issues.
