The Hispanic Officer of The Year Committee (HOY) Inc. is joining with the Houston Police Department (HPD) in honoring our finest Houston police officers. HOY is proud of the many acts of bravery, honor & dedication to duty of HPD police officers.
HOY's mission is to uplift and promote the professionalism of Hispanic police officers within the Houston Police Department, a mission it has pursued with unwavering commitment for over forty years. Through this celebration, they recognize the extraordinary achievements of Hispanic Officers, award scholarships for continued education, and offer a platform for the growth and advancement of these officers, ensuring they have the resources to thrive in their service to our city. Furthermore, they coordinate outreach programs to support and strengthen the Houston police Hispanic law enforcement community, fostering both unity and opportunity.
