Background and Discussion:
Traffic signals are constructed to improve the operation of an intersection and better facilitate pedestrian activities. As such, the consultant will be tasked with the signal design of the intersection and an evaluation of left turn storage to improve operations. The consultant will also be tasked with evaluating pedestrian accessibility through the provision of crosswalks and associated median nose opening adjustments required to facilitate pedestrian activities.

Designing and building a traffic signal at this intersection will improve operations and better facilitate pedestrian activities.
