Background and Discussion:
Annual performance evaluation discussions occurred between September and early October. The discussions included reviewing ratings and comments from a 360-degree review process that encompassed self-evaluations and evaluations from the County Administrator, peer Department Heads, department staff, and Court offices, and began conversations about FY27 goals.
12 OCA-reporting departments participated in the performance conversations, as OCA excluded Department Heads who were not permanent and those who will not have been in the role in a permanent or interim capacity for more than 90 days by September 1, 2026 (i.e., DEEO, FCD, and PCS were excluded).
Expected Impact:
This round of annual evaluations represents the first annual performance review within this evaluation cycle.
