Background and Discussion:
The Boudreaux Stormwater Detention Basin Phase 2 project is the final stage in developing a series of detention basins. This phase will help achieve the ultimate basin volume of 1,748 acre-feet of storage. This project occurs in the 3rd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Harris County Commissioners Court.

Expected Impact:
The project seeks to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in the Willow Creek Watershed by alleviating property and structural damage to adjacent communities.

Alternative Options:
None. If this project does not move forward, it would miss important CDBG-MIT milestones and the area would not realize flood risk reduction benefits.

Alignment with Goal(s):
_ Justice and Safety
X Economic Opportunity
X Housing
X Public Health
_ Transportation
X Flooding
X Environment
_ Governance and Customer Service
