Background and Discussion:
HCFMO pay parity went into effect on November 15, 2025. Following implementation, all employees' pay parity compensation was reviewed, and it was determined that corrections were warranted. A total of 19 employees were paid at incorrect hourly rates for 9 pay periods.

These corrections ensure compliance with Texas law enforcement pay parity requirements, correct payroll discrepancies, and restore accurate compensation for affected employees, reinforcing accountability, transparency, and adherence to approved compensation structures.

We are requesting a pay rate correction for the affected pay periods during which the incorrect rate was applied, from November 15, 2025, through March 20, 2026.

The total back pay is $53,344.00 total | $45,129.60 General Fund | $7,214.40 Fire Code

Expected Impact:
Ensures compliance with Texas law enforcement pay parity requirements and corrects payroll discrepancies for affected employees.
