Request by the Office of County Administration for an Executive Session for discussion and recommendation of Ujari Mohite, a nominee from the Commissioner of Precinct 4, to the Mayor of the City of Houston for nomination and reappointment to the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty (TIRZ 20) Board of Directors, Position 6, for a term beginning December 21, 2026, and ending December 20, 2028.

Background and Discussion:
The County may recommend two candidates to the Mayor of the City of Houston for nomination and appointment to the TIRZ 20 Board as provided by an interlocal agreement between the County, the City, the TIRZ, and the Southwest Houston Redevelopment Authority. Since TIRZ 20 is largely within the boundaries of Precinct 4, the commissioner of that precinct may nominate individuals for the positions as provided in the adopted Boards and Commissions Uniform Board Policies and Procedures, Section 8, D. Appointment Process.
Expected Impact:
Recommendation for the re-appointment of an expiring position assigned to and previously nominated by Precinct 4, which will enable continuity of operations and leadership on the board.
