Background and Discussion:
In response to the destruction brought by Hurricane Harvey that underscored critical shortages in Harris County's inventory of affordable homes, Harris County's Single Family New Construction Program (SFNC) matches individuals and families with opportunities to purchase new affordable homes in growing development throughout the County. Contract allows for the construction of infrastructure such as water, sanity, drainage and some landscape features.
