Background and Discussion:
On February 8, 2000, a series of drainage easements were abandoned as they were no longer needed by the Flood Control District. The legal description of the easements requires revisions to properly identify the descriptions of the easements to be abandoned, and correct issues that created ambiguity in the title.

Expected Impact:
Approving the corrective Order clear the ambiguity in title that the previous Orders created.

Alternative Options:
Not approving this item would allow the ambiguity in title to remain, thereby preventing the closing of a real estate transaction by a private seller directly affected by an eminent domain case pursued by Harris County.
