Background and Discussion:
Pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Ann. ?381.004, as amended, Harris County Commissioner Precinct 2 desires to provide a financial literacy program for students of AISD, including integrating The Stock Market Game, to support comprehensive literacy programs for the benefit of County residents.
Expected Impact:
The financial literacy program would give students the opportunity to participate in learning how to manage their finances and savings. Per the Texas Education Agency (TEA), 86.8% of AISD's student population is economically disadvantaged
