Background and Discussion:
This Amendment No. 2 will fund Professional Engineering Services for Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson to continue the natural stable channel design for two separate projects, referred to as L100-00-00-X013 at Kluge Road and K124-00-00-X041 at Louetta Road. Both projects reached 50% design before being put on hold due to funding constraints. Environmental standards and regulations have become more stringent and require additional funds. The channels have continued to erode, and it is imperative to complete the design and begin construction as soon as possible to avoid greater negative impacts.
Expected Impact:
This Amendment No. 2 will provide funding for final design and construction phase services necessary to complete the L100-00-00-X013 and K124-00-00-X041 projects.
