Background and Discussion:
Harris County Fresh Water Supply District No. 65 is a proposed special district comprising 2,125.5 acres of land situated wholly within Harris County and located entirely within the boundaries of Precinct 3. Due to the location of the District within the boundaries of the County, County consent to creation is required, including the acceptance of the petition presented at today’s meeting. A public hearing and adoption of an order regarding creation of the District will be considered at a future Commissioners Court meeting.
