Background and Discussion:
The mechanical and lighting systems at Annex 53 are outdated and have reached the end of their service life. The consultant for this project will provide comprehensive Architectural and MEP engineering design services for the entire Annex 53 facility.

Expected Impact:
Completion of this project will enhance the reliability of the building’s critical infrastructure systems and mitigate risk of catastrophic MEP system failure and service disruption. In addition, the project includes upgrading the existing lighting system to energy-efficient LED fixtures, supporting the County’s Climate Action Plan.
