Background and Discussion:
As part of a previous countywide study, many subdivisions were identified as being prone to flooding. From high-level limited analysis, the referenced subdivision was selected for further analysis due to overland flow and limited local drainage, determined through flood hazard data assessment and rain and grid investigation. This amendment will allow Harris County to include the omitted Environmental Scope of work to detailed study, contractually authorizing the consultant to provide professional engineering services for assessment and recommendation for drainage improvements within the selected subdivision.
