Background and Discussion:
The County can appoint one Director to the TIRZ 16 Board as a result of the Court's approval of an interlocal agreement between the County, the City, TIRZ 16, and the Uptown Development Authority. Since TIRZ 16 is largely within the boundaries of Precinct 4, the commissioner of that precinct may nominate a candidate for the position as provided in the adopted Boards and Commissions Uniform Board Policies and Procedures, Section 8, D. Appointment Process.
