Background and Discussion:
Harris County is initiating an ERP transformation to address challenges associated with its aging PeopleSoft
environment and to establish a modern, future-ready ERP foundation.
Harris County aims to modernize ERP capabilities, standardize and integrate business processes, establish a
clearly defined ERP strategy, improve transparency, and enable a compliant, defensible vendor selection process that supports successful outcomes.
As a result of the initial strategic activities completed, an overall ERP Transformation Vision and Strategic Drivers have been developed to provide direction for the process of soliciting, selecting, and implementing a new modern and transformational ERP solution for the County.
Additionally, the team has put together a representative ERP Modernization Roadmap that provides initial insights and structure to the remaining scope of this engagement; the completion of the RFP process. This includes the drafting of the solicitation through final selection of the new solution and the Solution Implementation partner.
