Background and Discussion:
This project expands Birnam Wood Boulevard from south of HCFCD Unit No. J109-01-01 to Cypresswood Drive from an existing two-lane concrete half-boulevard to a full boulevard section. Improvements include adding two southbound lanes constructed of concrete, a 32 foot grass median, a new southbound bridge at the J109-01-01 channel, southbound left turn lanes at Fern Hill Drive and Battle Spring Drive, sidewalks on both sides of Birnam Wood Boulevard, and a new traffic signal at Fern Hill Drive.
