Request for approval of a contract renewal with Carahsoft Salesforce, for a maximum of 12 months standard service, and professional data migration services to transfer VSD's case management and client records to the enterprise 311 system, which is supported by Universal Services, and upon successful data migration of VSD's client files, VSD will decommission the use of Salesforce and utilize the countywide enterprise 311 system as their primary case management system.

Background and Discussion:
VSD has used Carahsoft Salesforce for case and records management since the department's inception for all of Harris County veterans seeking assistance under its programs. The current case and records management system provides functionality which can be met with the existing county enterprise 311 system. VSD is on board with moving to the existing countywide enterprise 311 system. Funding for this contract renewal and data migration services are part of the 311 Phase IV Project with Universal Services, who will manage the data migration and coordinate with the Carahsoft vendor.
