Background and Discussion:
This project is a collaborative effort between the Flood Control District and the City of Houston to construct 12 interconnected stormwater detention basins on the former Inwood Forest Golf Course property. This Contract Change includes increases in quantities for various items, changes to preserve trees, and partner requests. This will be a $0 contract change as the additional costs will be offset through reductions in other items that are no longer needed.

Expected Impact:
This change will allow the contractor to construct the project so that the area can realize intended flood risk reduction benefits.

Alternative Options:
This is an active construction contract, so there are not many alternatives to approving a change order other than cancelling the contract which is not recommended as doing so would substantially delay the remaining work in the construction contract.
