Background and Discussion:
The project consists of constructing the extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard from 450’ north of Hickorygate Drive to south of HCFCD Unit # J109-01-01 within Harris County Precinct 3. The project length is approximately 0.77 miles. The specific scope consists of, but not limited to the following tasks:
- Demolition of portions of the existing pavement.
- Preparing portions of the right-of-way.
- Excavation
- 10-inch concrete pavement with 8-inch lime stabilized sub grade and curb.
