Request by Justice of the Peace 1-2 for approval to accept an amendment to an agreement with Results for America to extend the grant end date to December 15, 2026, for the FY26 Results for America Grant.

Background and Discussion:
This is an amendment to a previously approved grant for $15,000 from Results for America to create a video explaining the ability to pay process for Class C misdemeanor cases in justice court. The grant activities were originally contracted to be completed by 07/31/2025. All parties then approved an extension to 10/15/2026. Due to some unforeseen delays, we are now seeking an extension until 12/15/2026. The grantor has already approved the extension.
Expected Impact:
The extra time will allow us to complete the project with sufficient attention to detail and opportunity for the appropriate rounds of edits to have a polished final product.
Alternative Options:
Without the amendment, we will need to rush this project, potentially ending up with an inferior final product.
