Background and Discussion:
This agreement will provide preliminary engineering, design, bidding, and construction phase services for Tributary C143-00-00 Conveyance Improvements. This project was recommended by the C143-00-00 feasibility study and consists of conveyance improvements along tributary C143-00-00, as well as providing detention storage needed to mitigate the impacts of the upsized 7’ x 7’ reinforced concrete boxes (RCB) culvert at Anderson Road. This project occurs in the 3rd quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Commissioners Court.
Expected Impact:
The project seeks to reduce flood risks and strengthen resiliency in the Sims Bayou watershed by improving conveyance along HCFCD Unit C143-00-00.

The alternative to approving this item would be not proceeding with this project, which would delay the project.
