Background and Discussion:
This project is for demolition of damaged floor, walls, ceiling, and electrical light fixtures at the Caroline St Tunnel, for restoration to its pre-Harvey condition by installing flood mitigation upgrades, resilient wall panels and polished concrete surfaces. This project was advertised on bonfire on 12/22/2023 and only a single bid submittal was received by the deadline, 2/5/2024. This is a request to officially close bids and rebid the project.

This will enable the project to transition to the construction phase upon award to selected vendor.
