Background and Discussion:
Project includes the construction of sidewalks, driveways, medians, landscaping, irrigation system and street lighting to improve pedestrian access and management of vehicular access. Change includes the overruns of existing pay items due to existing field conditions for: Adjusting Manhole and Inlets, Concrete Curb, Concrete Driveways, Concrete Pavement, and others, and the addition of one new pay item for a Water Meter Vault. Also, Harris County requested the contractor change the median type at 4 locations so tractor trailer semis and fire trucks could access and leave the businesses and fire station.
Expected Impact:
Change allows for the completion of the project as designed and per the contract documents.
