Background and Discussion:

PNC Bank is the current facility provider for Commercial Paper, Series K and the agreement with the bank will expire on May 22, 2025. The County has decided to replace PNC with Truist Bank and will enter a 5-year term agreement with 23 bps fee rate with the bank. The transaction is scheduled to close on May 6, 2025.

 

Expected Impact:

Under the new facility provider agreement, facility fees will decrease from 0.25% to 0.23% which generate an annual savings of $44,000.
