Background and Discussion:
This program will expand access to affordable single-family homes in the community by acquiring and rehabilitating properties to assist eligible buyers.
HCD is requesting to streamline the processes by authorizing the Executive Director, or her designated representative, to perform all necessary actions and execute all documents related to the administration, maintenance, and updates of the (HCSFARFI) Harris County Single Family Acquisition & Rehabilitation First Initiative program. This allows the Executive Director to approve all funding assistance without Commissioners Court approval.
