Background and Discussion:
This project consists of asphalt rehabilitation work at several key locations. The scope includes Malcomson Road from Grant Road to Louetta Road, Fenske Road from Cypress Church Road to Cypress Rose Hill Road, and Cypress Church Road from Louetta Road to Mueschke Road. The Precinct requested the replacement of the existing single 48" pipe at the intersection of Cypress Church and Fenske Rd with a double run of 36" RCP
PCO-1- Cypress Church/Fenske Rd Cross-Pipe Replacement.
Items:
Item #43: Install 36” RCP Quantity: 82 LF @$245/LF = $22,540.00
New Item - Ditch Regrading Quantity: 125 LF @ 40/LF = $5,000.00
Cost: $27,540.00 / Time: 25 additional days added to the contract
Expected Impact:
These changes allow for quantity adjustments and the inclusion of new bid items necessary to complete the project in line with its original intent and in compliance with precinct requirements. Replacing the double run of 24-inch pipes with a single 36-inch pipe will improve hydraulic performance and system efficiency
