Background and Discussion:

This amendment includes a variety of changes to the study and the design including adjustments to the alignment as well as the location of the detention pond to better fit the topography and the resultant additional surveying, geotechnical, and environmental work that will require. Also the additional of the project sidewalks triggered an increase in the number of temporary construction easements needed for the project.

Expected Impact:

This amendment will allow the project alignment as well as the pond location and orientation to be optimized to better fit the conditions. The amendment will also allow the sidewalk to be constructed in the preferred location and will reduce the number of sidewalk retaining walls needed for the project by including several more temporary construction easements.

Alternative Options:

An alternative would be to not optimize the alignment, the pond location and orientation, and sidewalks temporary construction easements, resulting a less than desirable project
