Project Description:

This project is to create a dumpster area at 5707 Louetta Road that will allow citizens of Harris County to discard rubbish in a properly managed facility.

Project Scope:

The work will include removal of old, existing driveway, creation of a dumpster pad, construction of a new driveway to the dumpster area, traffic control as needed, and providing a dumpster to receive trash.

Justification:

There is no nearby suitable place to take trash, and this will encourage citizens to properly dispose of unwanted materials.

Alternatives and Engagement:

The alternative would be to continue to let the constituents search for a place to dump unwanted materials, some of which undoubtedly end up on roadsides and on county property requiring additional resources to clean up the mess.
