Background and Discussion:
The HIV Prevention Program grant allows Harris County Public Health staff to conduct HIV Prevention activities such as free HIV rapid testing, PrEP, condom distribution, and linkage to HIV Medical services. These services are provided to all eligible patients living in Harris County communities.
Expected Impact:
Without the funding to support HIV Prevention services, Harris County communities would see an increase of HIV positive cases.
