title
Request for approval to sponsor the 2025 Top 25 Prime & Subcontractors on Friday, June 13, 2025, at a supporting sponsorship level of $1,150.
end
Background and Discussion:
The Top 25 Prime & Subcontractors for Diversity is d-mars.com’s signature awards event that celebrates companies that work industriously to foster business growth in minority communities by supporting small business diversity initiatives. Honorees are nominated by their peers and selected based on their sustained commitment to engaging minority subcontractors, their years of service in supplier diversity, and their contributions to building equitable business ecosystems. Supporting this event not only demonstrates the County’s continued investment in supplier diversity but also strengthens relationships with key stakeholders in the public and private sectors who are committed to equitable contracting practices.
Expected Impact:
This event provides an excellent opportunity for community engagement. This involvement will facilitate connections with local businesses and support their economic growth.
Alternative Options:
Commissioners Court can choose not to approve this sponsorship; failure to approve the sponsorship will impact DEEO’s ability to engage with this community of business and community leaders.
