Background and Discussion: Multi-Service Contracts provide mowing and debris removal services, monthly, for the Mason Creek and Clear Lake watersheds.  Contractors maintain these two watersheds based on contract requirements to ensure grass does not exceed a certain height; and to ensure citizen service requests and debris removals are promptly addressed.  Contractors are required to keep a presence in the areas and coordinate their activities through a Vegetation Management inspector.  The vegetation Management Inspector verifies that the contractor is fulfilling the contract specifications and the contractors are paid if all contract requirements are met. These services will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the “Maintenance Matters” Proposition in November 2024.

Expected Impact: Renewing this contract will allow services to continue uninterrupted.

Alternative Options: Assimilating these areas into existing Full-Service Contracts
