Background and Discussion:

The project is located in northeast Harris County in the Spring Gully & Goose Creek and San Jacinto River watersheds. It is north of Barbers Hill Road and east of Sralla Road. The existing drainage consists of roadside ditches and outfalls to HCFCD channel O119-00-00. The proposed improvements are to regrade roadside ditches, upsize culverts, upsize outfalls and construct new outfalls, and construct a detention pond within the O119-00-00 channel for mitigation.

The change in contract includes the following:

The line items are adjusted to account for overrun quantities, underrun quantities and add a new line item to the project for completion of the proposed scope of work.

•                     The increase of quantities for existing line 19 for an addition in the amount of $275,296.00 and 0 days.

•                     The decrease in quantities for existing line item 20 for a deduction in the amount of $226,800.00 and 0 days.

•                     Added new line item 40 - HES upgrade on new concrete driveways for an addition in the amount of $4,500.00.

The above additions and deductions result in a net change in the amount of $52,996.00 and 0 calendar days.
