Background and Discussion:

The County seeks to facilitate the re-design of the roadway extension of Birnam Wood Boulevard, from south of J109-01-01 to Cypresswood Drive. Upgrading the existing roadway from a 2-lane concrete half boulevard section to a 4-lane concrete curb and gutter boulevard with 32 foot raised median and improved drainage. Study Report has been finalized and is ready for approval.

 

 

Expected Impact:

The project will improve the roadway and drainage conditions within this segment of Birnam Wood Boulevard. Neel Schaffer Inc. will be able to proceed with Design Phase once the study report is approved finalizing Study Phase.

 

 

Alternative Options:

If not approved, consultant will not be able to proceed with Design Phase tasks and may lead to project delays.
