Request for approval of a certain project, decreeing the project to be a public necessity and convenience, directing the Harris County Real Property Division to acquire, two (2) road easement tracts for the public project known as Intersection Improvements - Hufsmith Road at FM 2978, Stuebner Airline Road, and Kuykendahl Rd- 2023, for the purpose of roadway construction, UPIN 24103MF34P01, Precinct 3.

Background and Discussion:
The general scope of this project consists of upgrading Hufsmith Rd, Tomball, and includes construction of 3 intersection upgrades. Precinct 3 seeks improved lanes at Hufsmith Rd & FM 2978, Stuebner Airline Rd realignment, & Kuykendahl Rd lane changes. The first amendment facilitated the additional design services required for signal design at one of the intersections of this project, Hufsmith Road at Stuebner Airline Road.
Expected Impact:
The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and provide improve mobility for residents, pedestrians, and drivers.

If no action is taken, the project may experience delays in improving mobility in the area.
