Background and Discussion:
This is the new contract that will replace Job 19/0397. This contract will be awarded for maintenance and repair of all of the vertical transportation equipment in Harris County.
Expected Impact:
Awarding this contract would allow the approved vendors to provide monthly, semi-annual, and annual maintenance and repairs for all the elevators, escalators, wheelchair lifts in Harris County.
Alternative Options:
Alternative option would be to not approve this award which would greatly impact the reliability of all the elevators, elevator repairs and elevator entrapments if we do not have a vendor to provide maintenance and perform repairs.
