Request for approval of a certain project, decreeing the project to be a public necessity and convenience, and directing the Harris County Real Property Division to acquire two (2) fee simple tracts for the public project known as Shaw Road Segment 2 - from south of Westlake Run Blvd to Boudreaux Rd - 2019, for the purpose of roadway construction, UPIN 20104MF1BU01, Precinct 3.

Background and Discussion:
This project consists of upgrading Shaw Rd from Northpointe Blvd. to Boudreaux Rd from partially half blvd, partially two lane asphalt to four lane concrete with curb and gutter 32' median within 100' of ROW with the following traffic signals: Sunset Canyon Dr. There is one outfall with inline detention and pond that will outfall to the Northpointe WCID detention system. The acquisition of the two parcels in this request are for the detention pond included in the improvements of this project.
Expected Impact:
The approval of this request will ensure the completion of the project Shaw Road Segment 2 - from south of Westlake Run Blvd to Boudreaux Rd - 2019.
