Background and Discussion:
This interlocal agreement generates $16,000 annually to the County to cover the costs of managing their
investment portfolio. This is the fourth of four (4) one-year renewal options. It is recommended that Harris
County renew an interlocal agreement with Harris County Redevelopment Authority (HCRA) & City of Houston
Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Number Twenty-Four to provide Harris County Redevelopment
Authority and City of Houston Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone Number Twenty-Four with financial
investment services for the period of December 13, 2026 - December 12, 2027, with four (4) one-year renewal
options, at no cost to the county.
