Background and Discussion:

Precinct 4 seeks to retain its top performing employees by providing a one-time retention incentive to encourage these employees to remain employed by Precinct 4 in the 2025 calendar year. Those employees who received an ‘Exceeds Expectation’ or an ‘Outstanding’ rating on their Overall Performance Rating on the 2024 Precinct 4 Employee Performance Review and who remain employed as of January 31, 2025, will be eligible for a one-time retention incentive payment.  Eligible employees will receive an incentive comprised of a pre-determined flat rate plus a flat-rate amount equivalent to a percentage of base pay. Employees whose 2024 rating was below Exceeds Expectations and those who are no longer employed as of January 31, 2025, are ineligible for the incentive payment.
