Request Summary (Agenda Caption):

title

Request for discussion and possible action regarding the October 2025 Strategic Plan in Action report from the Strategic Planning Committee.

end

Background and Discussion:

In accordance with the Strategic Plan in Action (SPIA) approved by Commissioners Court on December 10, 2024, the Office of County Administration (OCA) worked with the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC), made up of representatives from each Commissioners Court office, to create the attached SPIA report.

The report also includes suggestions for how Commissioners Court can further support progress related to the Strategic Plan. If this item is approved as presented, the suggestions for Commissioners Court support on page 5 of the report would be authorized for implementation by OCA, OMB, and other departments as applicable.

Expected Impact:

If Commissioners Court directs the SPC, OCA, OMB, or departments to act on any of the outlined opportunities-or on other actions they choose-it would help to focus the applicable County departments on Strategic Plan execution on a specific set of prioritized actions.

Alternative Options:

OCA can continue working with the SPC to determine the next steps for Strategic Plan implementation and how to bring the Strategic Plan into greater focus for County departments.
