Justification & Alternatives:
The current system at Cactus Jack Cagle Community Center is outdated and unreliable. Barrett Station Community Center currently has no system. These systems are being put into place to modernize our facilities and allow presentations that are compatible with today’s technology.
Since the community centers function as meeting places for presentations to large groups and meeting places for Town Halls, meetings that are plagued by technical difficulties or poor communication are likely to be unproductive. Not upgrading the current systems would disrupt the meeting flow and waste time. If the sound quality is poor, it can be difficult for people to hear each other, leading to misunderstandings and missed information.
