Background and Discussion:

The Aldine Village/Oak Glen West Subdivisions Drainage Improvements - 2018 project is located in Harris County, in Aldine near Halls Bayou. The scope of this project is to included storm sewer system upgrades, installation of storm sewer outfalls and detention basins with pump stations into Halls Bayou Channels P118-25 and P-118-26, driveway replacements, and related pavement work. This Utility Adjustment Agreement allows the project to move forward with the improvements as intended.

Expected Impact:

This project seeks to reduce flooding and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the Aldine Village/Oak Glen West Subdivisions. This agreement allows for CenterPoint Energy Resources Corp. dba CenterPoint Energy Texas Gas Operations to be reimbursed for their relocation within their restricted timeframe of shutting down their gas line at this project’s location.
