Background and Discussion:
On March 14, 2023, the Commissioners Court approved the creation of six new criminal district courts. The Court also directed the Office of County Administration to collaborate with relevant stakeholders to consider investments in district criminal courts including, but not limited to, technological advancements aimed at promoting best practices and enhancing overall effectiveness of the court system.
