title

Request by the District Attorney that the County Judge execute timesheet attestations per the Office of the Governor/Criminal Justice Division audit request for the Victim Assistance Project Grant Program.

end

Background and Discussion:

The Victim Assistance grant program provides critical emotional support services, criminal justice information, and protective order assistance to crime victims. The audit was received on 11/4/25 and is requesting time sheet attestations to ensure both exempt and non-exempt employees who work 100% on grant activities periodically (at least semi-annually) certify that they worked solely on the grant.

Expected Impact:

The District Attorney’s Office must provide attestations, signed by the authorized official, for each sampled employee certifying the number of hours the employee worked, and the percentage of time worked on the grant-related activities

Alternative Options:

There are no alternative options. The Office of the Governor requires these timesheet attestations.
