Background and Discussion:
Harris County Precinct One Administration Office and Service Center is a new two-story, approximately 37,000 sf building located at 2787 El Camino Street. The building will house the administrative leadership departments that serve the needs of the surrounding Harris County Precinct One community, and a well-equipped Multi-purpose Center that will accommodate the needs of the Precinct and its constituents.
This change in contract entails the coverage of builder’s risk insurance extension, scope changes to interior finishes, additional cost to acquire the MDP breaker; credits for tilt wall staining color and interior finishes.
Expected Impact:
Changes allow the completion of the project in accordance with the original intent of the project.
Alternative Options:
Should we not move forward with this change order we would not have coverage of builder’s risk insurance, scope changes to interior finishes, delay to acquire the MDP breaker, and no credit for tilt wall staining color and interior finishes.
