Background and Discussion:

Harris County Municipal Utility District 539 is requesting to implement a few non-standard decorative items within the community. The non-standard items include sections of stamped concrete on collector road, located at the main entrance on Anniston Lakes Drive off FM 529, as well as black sign poles for all street signs in the development. The construction of the nonstandard item will not impact the surrounding community and will meet all Harris County infrastructure regulations and safety precautions.

Expected Impact:

The project will provide residents with enhanced amenities and frequent maintenance for consistency with other privately maintained locations.

Alternative Options:

Commissioners Court can opt to not move forward with the non-standard maintenance agreement; however, this will delay the community development and impact project schedules.
